We are a friendly and growing team of six comprising four party wall surveyors and two support staff, available to help owners with their party wall matters.

Between us we speak three languages and pride ourselves in providing a prompt efficient service. We recognize that party wall surveyors can sometimes be hard to reach as the nature of their work regularly requires them to be on site. Our team structure means that a team member should always be contactable to provide an update on the progress of each case.

From our London office in Battersea, our party wall surveyors cover the whole of the Greater London area. We are regularly in Kensington, Chelsea, Westminster, Hammersmith, Fulham, Clapham, Balham, Wimbledon, Richmond, and also Camden, Islington, Hampstead and Notting Hill.

Stanley & Strong is a London based firm of Party Wall Surveyors with experience in residential and commercial surveying and is regulated by RICS.
The company was established in 2010 and has grown to a team of 6 becoming one of the largest independent party wall specialists outside the large "central London" practices.
Our Team is multinational with fluent French and Afrikaans spoken - we love the opportunity to speak in these languages!
Jean-Pierre is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors.
At Stanley & Strong we are very lucky to have a South African member of staff who would welcome the opportunity to practice her Afrikaans.

If you have received a party wall notice, you may be wondering what it is and how to respond to it.
You have received a notice because your neighbour intends to undertake building works and some elements of these works are notifiable to you under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
Notifiable works may involve works to a party wall, to a shared boundary or may involve excavations situated within 3 or 6 meters of your property's foundations.
In many cases for small residential projects there is no need to dissent and appoint a surveyor.
