A key part of the process is to have the property inspected to ensure you avoid any costly surprises in store after the sale has gone through. Our surveyor, Matt Morris, has been providing property advice for over 20 years. We are totally independent and regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Our surveyor is a registered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Matt Morris has carried out a good many surveys for his clients buying properties through my agency. To the best of my knowledge he's given a good professional service and provided realistic advice to his clients.
Services
Our surveyor Matt Morris qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) in 1995.
He is also an Agricultural Valuer (FAAV) and Chartered Building Engineer (C.Build E MCABE) and has been providing property advice for over 20 years.
Having worked for a large corporate firm of residential surveyors for 15 years Matt became a director of an independent Bristol surveying practice before establishing A B & C Surveyors Ltd.
I have known Matt for several years and would recommend him and A B and C Surveyors very highly in looking after a survey report of my property.
A professionally prepared Valuation Report, as opposed to other types of survey, is intended only to give a brief inspection of the property, and a market valuation.
It's scope is restricted by the fact it's based on a limited inspection and a number of standard assumptions.
The property valuation will always be carried out by a qualified member and registered valuer of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and the valuation will conform to RICS standards.
For :- Probate Purposes, Tax Planning, Help to Buy/Shared Equity Purchases or Sales, Charities Act, Self-Invested Pensions, etc.
When you're buying a new home, you want to be confident that the price you're paying represents good value.
A valuation report is based on a limited inspection of the property and is intended only to provide valuation advice.
So, you'll be able to get an idea of the property's current market value, but you won't get any further information about the property itself.
A survey will provide much more information on the potential property, particularly focusing on the overall condition of the structure and fittings, which can heavily impact the long-term costs of living there.
