read more › A large two storey side extension and full width single storey rear extension to a prominent house in Emerson Park. Detailed communication with the Council was required for this scheme to ensure the amount of extensions required met the Councils design guidelines. Through continuous dialogue with the planning officer we were able to successfully secure the planning permission granted.

read more › An extension to the existing garage of a large family home in Theydon Bois to create a new 'work from home' office area. The clients had previously engaged another architect to assist with this project. The previous designs were over complicated, with different floor levels, insufficient headroom and the scheme was visually contrasting to the host property. We simplified the scheme and designed it to be in keeping with the original house whilst providing sufficient headroom for the clients needs.

read more › Works to a Grade II Listed farmhouse, which included internal refurbishment and planning for a new orangery. We achieved planning permission for upgrading the existing timber framed windows from single to double glazing. Amazingly, the Council treated the project as the test case for upgrading to double glazed windows for the Borough. We were the first application to be approved of this type.

read more › This interesting project involved the demolition and replacement of 8 existing redundant garages with a proposed residential development to provide for 2 contemporary bungalows. There were various issues to be considered such as views of the property from neighbouring windows, height of the development at boundary line with neighbouring gardens as well as landscaping to the front elevations.

read more › As a regulated RICS firm, we have in place a CHP, which meets the regulatory requirements of the RICS rules. Our CHP has two stages. Stage one of the CHP gives our firm the chance to review and consider your complaint in full. Our firm will try to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction. If you are not happy with our response, you will have the opportunity to take your complaint to stage two. Stage two gives you, the client, the chance to have your complaint reviewed and considered by an independent redress provider, approved by the RICS.
