Afond Structural Surveys is a division of Afond Design Consultants lead by the principal who has over 45 years experience in the design and construction of many types of buildings, structures and civil engineering works, the first being the steel portal framed factory at Halewood, Liverpool, for the Ford Escort saloon car in 1966!
Commissions todate include civil and structural engineering works for sewage and water treatment works, ecclesiastical and faith buildings, dwellings, commercial and industrial buildings, bridges, and expert witness in litigation.
Although we are engaged in many new build projects, we particularly specialise in the design and site supervision of extensions, loft and cellar conversions and remedial works to homes and commercial and industrial buildings, including foundation underpinning, strapping of walls for stability purposes, strengthening weak roofs and floors, and work with all insurance companies, banks, building societies and other lending institutions.
