It is important to obtain the correct survey for your needs.
There are 3 types of survey, if you require advice in choosing the right one, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The RICS Condition Report should be used for a conventional house, flat or bungalow built from common building materials and in reasonable condition.
A clear 'traffic light' ratings of the condition of different elements of the building, services, garage and outbuildings, showing problems that may require varying degrees of attention.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a guide that would-be buyers or tenants get when they look at a property.
It shows how efficiently a home uses energy, the cost of running a home and recommendations of how to improve the energy efficiency of the property.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) gives a property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and is valid for 10 years.
The EPC will also provide estimated running costs for the property.
It shows how energy efficiently a property is and advises what changes can be made in order to reduce running costs and carbon ommisions produced.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rates how energy efficient your building is using grades from A to G (with 'A' the most efficient grade).
However, with minimum energy efficiency standards being introduced (MEES), property will only be re-let or sold if that EPC rating E or above is acheived.
In order to prevent loss of income or delays, please contact us so that we can provide you with reliable advice and guidance.
You must have an EPC if you are selling, renting or building a commercial property, please see below for any exemptions.
