Jarman Ward is a successful independent chartered building surveying practice and construction consultants based in Devon.
The practice was founded by Richard Jarman and Andrew Ward in 2016 following a long period of collaboration at a large national multi-disciplinary practice.
They saw the need to set up a business to offer professional excellence in building surveying combined with the flexibility and personal approach of a small practice.
Both Directors have an engaging and positive approach to building productive client relationships and are experienced, chartered building surveyors.

We are passionate and experienced in Building Conservation and are committed to the appropriate maintenance and preservation of Listed buildings to ensure their long-term use.
We know that Listed buildings can be challenging both in terms of maintenance and when planning refurbishment and alteration works and that is why utilising a practice who are experienced in Building Conservation is crucial to a successful outcome.

The fundamental ethos of the Regulations is that design decisions taken in the pre-construction phase of projects can affect the health and safety of the construction processes, materials used and maintenance of the building thereafter.
